For $10, I was surprised to be offered a replacement battery. The tools to open the case were great, the battery appeared to be legitimate. There is great risk in opening an iPhone to replace the battery, there are a lot of delicate wires and connections. After the painstaking install, the battery is in and functions, barely. It takes much longer to charge than the original battery, and the charge disappears much faster than the original battery. I am lucky to get a single hour of talk time with this replacement. I wish I had never bothered with this swap, it was waste of time with a negative result.
