Don't get me wrong, this is better than the original completely dead battery. But after 2 years the battery swelled enough to push apart my iPod 5.5gen near the screen.
Also the amount of adhesive tape on the back seems excessive. By the time the battery swelled the glue got smushed over to the hold ribbon cable. So when I tried to remove the battery, I wound up tearing the hold ribbon cable too. Doh!
