this was purchased together with faceplate to refurbish my old ipod video, mine was already coming apart and now ipod is as good as new great quality looks exactly like original with the exceptions of all the scratches mine had...I want to add that its not as simple to replace if you are not familiar with opening stuff... there are no instructions on it so if you are expecting those, you will be disappointed...seek professional installation if you don't feel comfortable opening up your ipod.
